M.Tech. Energy Engineering or Master of Technology in Energy Engineering is a two-year postgraduate Energy Engineering course. Energy engineering is a wide field of engineering concerning with energy efficiency, energy services, facility management, plant engineering, environmental compliance and alternative energy technologies. This course deals mostly with the energy resources, energy conversion, energy conservation, and environmental impacts. Topics to be covered include different types of energy resources and their uses, different types of energy conversion technology such as fuel cells, thermoelectric, and solar energy conversion, and energy conservation technologies such as pinch technology and cogeneration. The course is two years duration, but it depends on the rules and regulations of deferent institutes. The M.E. (Energy Engineering) course is an important one which opens my job scopes for the applicants after having passed it.
