COURSE DESCRIPTION


M.B.A. Marketing Management or Master of Business Administration in Marketing Management is a postgraduate Sales and Marketing Management course. Marketing is the process of creating interest in customer regarding goods or services. It is done through strategy that underlies sales techniques, business communication and business development. The course comprises study relating to market research and analysis, product designs, pricing, promotion, selling and distribution and other similar marketing concepts. Within the specialization of marketing, the student will focus more on the concepts and fields such as promotions, advertising, research, and sales. The full degree course consists of four semesters in which the first two semesters are common to all the MBA programs and the last two concentrate and focus on the specialised subjects and topics related to the Marketing field.

M.B.A. Marketing Management Eligibility

  • A bachelor`s degree in any stream is the pre-requisite for pursuing an MBA degree in Marketing Management.
  • Some reputed universities conduct a common entrance test (GMAT, CAT, XAT, MAT, etc) for admission into its management courses but there are no different entrance tests for MBA in Marketing.  
  • The common entrance test includes different papers like English, problem solving, data analysis and interpretations, numerical ability, logical reasoning and general awareness.

  • Students should be tactful when dealing with clients and be patient and possess keen business expertise.
  • They should have good communication skills, leadership quality and ability to motivate and work as part of a team, ability to understand and solve problems.
