B. Sc. Agriculture is one of the most popular courses nowadays. This is an undergraduate agriculture and technology course. If you are not aware of the term Agriculture, it's simple classification is farming. With this course, students learn to grow plants and fungi by using some standard techniques to improve the quality as well as quantity.
B. SC. IN AGRICULTURE COURSE DESCRIPTION
This is 4 years course that contains 8 semesters. The eligibility criteria to enter into this course is 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology) or 10+2 with Agriculture. For the international student, the eligibility criteria are, 12th OR "A" Level OR Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology & Agriculture.
There are many colleges in Rajasthan, where a student find B. Sc. Agriculture professional degree program. The 4 years course (8 semesters) includes a number of subjects such as Agronomy, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Environment Science, Horticulture, Animal Science, Fisheries, Biochemistry, Nematology, Microbiology, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Economics and Statistics, etc. that are recommended by JNU's 5th Dean Committee of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR, an Apex body). There are various other additional courses such as Physics, Chemistry, Computer and English are also taught in the applied courses.

Students can also continue for higher education in agriculture, Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) offers this facility to the students.
To recruit Agriculture Finance Officer (AFO) & post them in various Nationalized banks, Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS), Ministry of Finance, Government of India conducts the examinations every year.

• Some colleges take entrance examinations as well if a student clear the examination then only he/she can get the admission in that college.
