Liberal Arts education is essential for the intellectual formation of future citizens especially in today’s world of rapid Global change. Accordingly, the approach of BA Liberal Arts is to develop qualifications that comprise knowledge of subject, society and technical expertise. The programme has been designed by an interdisciplinary team of academicians dedicated to the idea of an all-inclusive system of higher education. 

The Liberal Arts programme aims at producing thinking and engaged citizens rather than merely specialized resources for particular industries. The programme will lead learners through a systematic acquisition of skills that will allow them to seek employment in fields that they are passionate about. In addition to that, it will expose students to a diversified learning environment where they will interact and learn from students, faculty members, and experts from their own and other areas, which will help them develop nuanced insights into their own fields. The interdisciplinary approach of the programme is driven by a need expressed globally for an education in Humanities and Social Science that is not limited by the boundaries imposed on thought by traditional disciplinary approaches.

Besides shaping their qualifications by a selection of Major/Minor courses, the students will take some compulsory Foundational courses, which will provide them with a skill set that involves critical thinking, reading, writing, viewing etc. This will equip the students with some necessary abilities to approach and understand all areas of Humanities and the Social Sciences. Such a learning will allow the students to explore areas of their interest at any given time of their lives. It will also open up possibilities of careers in a variety of fields such the fields of  journalism, business analysis, think tanks, advertising, civil services, writing,
